Since our inception in 2006, the International Coaches Union Association has grown rapidly, now boasting over 10,000 certified coaches in 32+ countries around the world. This expansion allows us to reach and support more coaches and clients, bringing the transformative power of coaching to a global audience.

ICU has worked with high-level organizations, such as governors, Councils of Ministers, and presidential administrations, on projects aimed at implementing decentralized management systems and involving the population. Our coaches and trainers have also worked with Olympic athletes and football teams, showcasing the versatility and impact of our coaching methods.

Our internationally recognized ICU coaching certification confirms the professionalism of our coaches, registering them in the global database of coaching professionals. In some countries, obtaining a certificate of a Master Coach or Trainer of the ICU can also be automatically certified for the coaching profession with a state-recognized diploma or can also receive an additional supplement to the certificate follows the model developed by UNESCO/CEPES, COUNCIL OF EUROPE, the EUROPEAN COMISSION. This prestigious ICU certification sets our coaches apart in the industry.

Our program for ICU Master Trainer certification is accredited by Thomas Edison State University (TESU, USA), enabling those who pass the ICU program to receive six educational credits towards their master’s degrees in TESU. This accreditation solidifies our reputation as a leading authority in the world of coaching.

ICU hosted a coaching conference at EXPO 2020 Dubai in 2021, and organizes a Coaching Conference every year, further demonstrating our commitment to the advancement and promotion of the coaching profession worldwide.

ICU aims to extend the benefits of coaching to a wider audience, especially to marginalized communities, including those that have experienced conflict, unrest (post-conflict) and post-pandemic. By providing coaching and training services to these communities, we help individuals develop resilience, self-awareness, and empathy. We also support them in rebuilding and healing, as they adapt to new realities and overcome challenges. In doing so, we strive to create a more inclusive, compassionate, and conscious world.

One of the key strengths of the ICU Association lies in the expertise of our Master Trainers. Most of them hold academic degrees, including PhDs, showcasing the depth and breadth of knowledge they bring to the table. This high level of academic achievement allows us to maintain close integration with the academic community, ensuring that our coaching methodologies and practices are informed by the latest research and evidence-based approaches.
